Anonymous asked: Could you give a little bit of advice for someone who's looking forward to develop her first comic and is doing it all on her own for the first time? Thank you so much if you can! :3

have fun, learn a lot, don’t worry too much about what other people think, and make sure you finish it! the ability to work on something and the ability to finish it are two COMPLETELY SEPARATE SKILLSETS, and most people don’t have the second. how many times have you heard people talk about how they started a comic and then gave it up after a couple pages? set work schedules for yourself, don’t go back and revise pages, don’t micromanage the art, set a deadline, make a manageably small project, whatever it takes MAKE SURE YOU LEARN HOW TO FINISH BEFORE YOU LEARN HOW TO MAKE GOOD COMICS
